That’s right! According to the Boulder County Horse Association, there are approximately 15,000 cows in Boulder county and 15,330 horses. Six percent of Colorado’s total horse population reside right here in our own county and the horse community contributes approximately $94 million to the GDP each year.

The Tack Collection
This shop located in Lafayette is a full-service tack shop catering to the needs of dressage, hunter/jumper, event, and pleasure riders. They offer a specialty in individually fitting saddles by certified saddle fitters.
Saddle Up
This small Longmont shop offers personel service and a wide selection of new and used Western saddles and tack. The shop takes trades & consignments. The property allows for horse & trailer parking to allow selection of saddles and trial right at the store.
Stockyards Supply
Since 1951, Stockyards Ranch Supply carries a variety of fencing, tubular items, livestock handling equipment, saddles & tack. Located in Commerce City, about 45 minutes from Boulder County.

Singletree Farm has been in business since 1984 and located east of the city of Boulder. The farm provides horse care, pleasure riding and teaching advanced riding techniques.

Rocky Mountain Riding Therapy
This facility is host to a nonprofit therapeutic horseback riding program located in South Boulder. The organization works with children and adults that have a variety of physical, cognitive and emotional disabilities, providing therapy and recreation opportunities using horses and horsemanship.
Colorado Horse Rescue
Non-profit organization dedicated to providing emergency relief, shelter, care, rehabilitation, and adoption services for abused, neglected, abandoned and unwanted horses. CHR provides community resources through equine education, counseling, information and referral services. Located in the heart of Boulder County horse country between Boulder and Longmont.
Twin Oaks Farm
